Our client is seeking a Dietary Supervisor to work in their facility and assist staff with meal preparation. The Dietary Supervisor must have a thorough understanding of dietary restrictions, be able to speak to patients about the importance of healthy eating, and must be able to prepare fresh meals daily. This is an entry-level position that will help create an effective team, while also working toward becoming a Registered Dietitian in the future.

Shifts Available:

*Every Weekend availability required

Qualifications of a Dietary Aide Supervisor:

- High school diploma or equivalent

- Experience in a long-term care facility strongly preferred

- Must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 (Including booster shot if eligible)

Responsibilities:

• Monitor patient's diet to ensure consistency with nutritional recommendations and care plan.
• Prepare meals and feed patients according to diet recommendations.
• Monitor food supplies to ensure that adequate amounts of food are available for a meal; assist cooks in monitoring food supplies.
• Assist kitchen staff by cleaning dishes, pots, and utensils used in food preparation and serving.
• Monitor patient's intake of fluids; assist with the preparation of special menus for patients with fluid restrictions.
